Use of Services

  • — You agree to use uSign solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • — You must not upload, sign, or share any content that is illegal, fraudulent, or violates third-party rights.
  • — You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and agree to notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
  • — When using Google SSO authentication, you agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms.
  • — SMS notifications are provided through Twilio services and are subject to standard messaging rates from your mobile carrier.

Electronic Signatures & Legal Validity

  • — uSign provides eSignature capabilities that comply with applicable electronic signature laws, including the U.S. ESIGN Act, UETA, and the EU eIDAS Regulation.
  • — The enforceability of electronic signatures varies by jurisdiction. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Fees and Payments

  • — uSign may offer both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed according to the pricing details available on our website.
  • — All payment processing is handled securely through Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store credit card information on our servers.
  • — Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a specific refund policy.
  • — We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, with reasonable notice to users.

Third-Party Services and Integrations

  • — uSign integrates with various third-party services to enhance functionality, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting, Google services for authentication (SSO), Stripe for payment processing, and Twilio for SMS communications.
  • — Your use of these integrated services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
  • — We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.
  • — You acknowledge that these integrations may involve data sharing with third parties as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of uSign is subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, which outline how we collect, use, and protect your data. uSign employs industry-standard security measures to safeguard your documents and personal information, leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure for secure hosting and data storage. We integrate with trusted third-party services including Google SSO for authentication, Stripe for payments, and Twilio for SMS notifications, all of which maintain their own security and privacy standards.

Intellectual Property

  • — All content, branding, and technology associated with uSign remain the intellectual property of uSign Inc.
  • — You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to use the Services.

Termination and Suspension

  • — We may suspend or terminate your access to uSign if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
  • — Users may deactivate their accounts at any time by following the account deletion process outlined on our platform.

Disclaimer of Warranties

  • — uSign is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind.
  • — We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
  • — Our services depend on third-party infrastructure (AWS) and integrations (Google, Stripe, Twilio) which may experience outages or service interruptions beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

  • — uSign and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
  • — Our maximum liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the user within the last 12 months.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation as outlined in our dispute resolution policy.
